Frequently asked questions
Understanding our refund process is key to a smooth experience on Pulse. We've compiled answers to common questions regarding $HEARTZ tokens and creator content to provide clarity and guidance.
What kinds of purchases or services on Pulse would someone typically be able to get a refund for?
$HEARTZ Token Purchases: All purchases of $HEARTZ tokens via Stripe or other fiat gateways are final. Once the tokens are delivered to your digital wallet, they cannot be returned or refunded for cash. Technical Errors: If you were charged but did not receive your tokens due to a technical glitch, please contact [info@pulseheartz.org] within 48 hours. We will verify the transaction on the blockchain and ensure your tokens are delivered.
What needs to happen for a user to qualify for a refund?
Creator Subscriptions & Digital Goods: Creator Responsibility: If you purchase a specific digital good from a creator that is "not as described," any refund must be negotiated directly with that creator. Platform Role: Pulse acts as the facilitator. We do not hold funds in escrow once a transaction is confirmed on-chain.
What's the simple process for a user to ask for a refund if they need one?
Before reaching out, users need to know if a refund is even possible: Stripe/Bank Purchases ($HEARTZ packs): Refundable only in cases of technical failure (e.g., money taken but no tokens delivered). On-Chain Tips/Sends: Non-refundable. Once $HEARTZ are sent to another user or burned, the transaction is permanent on the Base network. Step 2: Submit a "Sync Support" Ticket. The user should send an email to [[email]] with the following: Subject: Refund Request - [Order Number]. The Receipt: A screenshot of their Stripe confirmation email. The Wallet Address: Their public wallet address so you can verify if the tokens were actually delivered. Step 3: Verification & Resolution. The Audit: Our team checks the Stripe Dashboard and the Blockchain Explorer. The Fix: If Stripe shows a success but the blockchain shows no transfer, we manually trigger the $HEARTZ send. The Refund: If the user truly wants their money back and the tokens haven't been spent, we "Void" the Stripe transaction and "Burn" the equivalent $HEARTZ from their account to keep the economy balanced.
Are there any key rules, time limits, or specific conditions users should be aware of regarding refunds?
No, there are not any key rules, time limits, or specific conditions users should be aware of regarding refunds beyond what is stated in this policy.
